EasyWeb Internet Banking
TD Waterhouse clients can quickly and easily transfer funds between their TD Canada Trust and TD Waterhouse accounts using EasyWeb Internet Banking. Transactions will normally be posted the next day.
With EasyWeb, you can withdraw funds from your:
- Personal deposit, commercial deposit and savings accounts
- TD Waterhouse cash and margin accounts
You can use EasyWeb to deposit funds to your:
- Personal deposit, commercial deposit, savings and registered deposit accounts
- TD Waterhouse Canadian cash and margin accounts
- TD Waterhouse SDRSP, RESP and QSSP accounts
You can use EasyWeb to complete Foreign Exchange cash transfers:
- Between TD Waterhouse brokerage accounts and TD Canada Trust bank accounts (CDN to U.S., U.S. to CDN) in real-time*
You can use EasyWeb for same currency transfers:
- Between your TD Waterhouse brokerage accounts (CDN to CDN,
U.S. to U.S.) in real-time*
* The funds are available immediately if the transfer is made to a TD Waterhouse cash or RSP account before 8:00 PM ET. Transferred funds are not available in margin accounts until the next day. For more information, please contact your local TD Waterhouse office.
EasyLine Telephone Banking
In addition to making deposits personally at any TD Canada Trust branch or by sending a cheque,you can move funds from any personal TD Canada Trust account into your TD
Waterhouse account by phone. You can even post-date transfers. Subscribe to EasyLine Telephone Banking services by calling 1-866-222-3456.
Access your available balance
Available balances for in-branch, ABM and EasyLine Telephone Banking withdrawals, bill payment transactions and transfers from TD Waterhouse accounts are calculated daily (with the exception of weekends and holidays) as follows.
- Daily Withdrawal limits for EasyWeb Internet Banking: $25,000 for all TD Waterhouse accounts
- Daily Withdrawal limits for MoneyLink Cheques: $5,000 for Direct Trading TD Waterhouse accounts. (Note: MoneyLink ATM withdrawals daily limit is $1,000.)
- President's Accounts: $10,000 daily limit for TD Waterhouse President's Accounts
* Withdrawal restrictions for MoneyLink and EasyWeb Internet Banking only
Withdrawals are subject to the following Credit checks:
- 100% available Cash Account balance when withdrawal is from a Cash account
- Excess margin (calculated as 90% of margin available)
- No Short Positions in the client's portfolio (except in Short accounts)
- Uncleared funds (recent deposits) are deducted from available balances
Note: Daily limits do not reset on weekends and statuatory holidays.
Transferring Funds electronically
Electronic Funds Transfer allows funds to be transferred from your TD Waterhouse account to your personal account at any financial institution in Canada. Requests received before 3:00 p.m. EST will be deposited to TD Canada Trust accounts by the morning of the next business day. Deposits made to other financial institutions will be available the morning of the third business day.
